Committing to a local faith family is an important decision. And, though your boy or girl is a child, if he or she pursues membership, your child will be a member, just as anyone else is a member. We do not consider children to be “junior members." If your child desires to be a member of The Church at Brook Hills and you believe your child is ready and mature enough to make this commitment, we now have a Children’s Membership Guide that walks you through discussing church membership with your child.
The material is presented in three main sections. The first section introduces the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The second section introduces the church in general and the third section introduces our church in particular, The Church at Brook Hills. The concepts presented in the guide are best suited for children who are at least 10 years of age.
If your child would like to pursue membership, you can pick up a Children’s Membership Guide from the Children’s Ministry team. The Member Care and Children’s Ministry teams are here to help you! If you have any questions as you go through this material with your child, please .
