Praise God for His gracious patience toward us. Ask the Spirit to produce the fruit of patience in our own lives. Pray for God to give us all the strength to endure no matter what we encounter in life.

This week we are praying for the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association (bmbaonline.org), a cooperative effort of local Southern Baptist churches working together to create gospel advancement opportunities that reach beyond the efforts of an individual congregation. The mission of BMBA is to build the kingdom of God across metro Birmingham and beyond. We are especially praying for Chris Crain, the Executive Director. We are also praying for Iron City Church and Pastor Isaac Adams.

DAY 1: Please pray for the 180 BMBA pastors and their families across the Birmingham metro area. Pray for the pastors to faithfully proclaim the gospel as they face a changing culture. Pray they would model Christ-like love and service to their own families.

DAY 2: Please pray for the BMBA Partner Center. Pray for the many partners utilizing that space, including WorkFaith Birmingham, Discovery Clubs, Awaken Recovery, and Sav-A-Life Crisis Pregnancy Center.

DAY 3: Pray specifically for the 1400 children being discipled in public schools across Birmingham through the BMBA’s Discovery Club Ministry. Pray that the children would come to know Jesus and help draw their families near to Him as well. Pray for the faithful volunteers serving each week and that the Lord would call more volunteers to join Discovery Clubs.

DAY 4: Pray for the BMBA churches currently involved in a revitalization process. Pray that their congregations would be renewed, that more leaders would join their work, and that they would be used to reach their communities with the Gospel in greater ways in days ahead. Pray that other churches would come alongside them to partner in reaching the lost.

DAY 5: Pray for the many BMBA churches that are currently without a pastor. Pray that the Holy Spirit would draw a Pastor to serve these churches well.

DAY 6: Pray for the nine distribution points throughout the city that help relieve food insecurities for families in need. Pray for the churches that are humbly using food ministries to serve and love their communities

This week, we are praying for one of our mid-term partners, Julia B. Julia serves as an elementary school principal at a school in North Africa.

DAY 1: Pray for Julia as she serves in her role as elementary school principal. She has served in this role for a few years. Pray she will love the teachers, other administrators, and students as Christ loves her. Pray she will be a shining light of the gospel.

DAY 2: The school is in dire need of more space for the students and classes. Pray for God to provide the funding needed for a new building. Pray the hearts of donors around the world will be stirred to give cheerfully to this endeavor.

DAY 3: One huge need for international schools is always more teachers. Pray for God to send more teachers to this school who are committed to following Christ to hard-to-reach places. Pray for God to provide educators who are willing to step out in faith to provide quality education to missionary kids and other international students at this school.

DAY 4: Julia serves as the elementary school principal, but this is a short term posting for her. Pray for God to provide a replacement for her position within the next two years. Pray for Julia to “work heartily, as for the Lord” while she is there.

DAY 5: Pray for Julia to model Jesus’s life and for her to strive to be a servant leader at the school, on her team, and in her relationships with friends. Pray she will be filled with the Spirit each day. Ask God to give her wisdom in the many decisions she has to make every day. Pray for protection as she navigates the traffic in the very crowded city streets.

DAY 6: Julia lives in a Muslim country. Muslims around the world began celebrating the month of Ramadan around March 10. Pray Jesus will make himself known to many people around the globe during this month. Pray for Muslims to be open to hearing the gospel, as they are seeking to hear from God, specifically during this month.
