Praise God for His incomparable majesty, boundless love, and unfailing faithfulness. Pray we will never tire of our worship of God for who He is and all He has done and continues to do for us. Pray we will all seek to find our ultimate joy solely in Him. Ask the Spirit to continually recall for us the mighty works of God. Ask God to daily grow our trust in Him. Pray we will continually and constantly proclaim to the world around us the goodness of God and His gospel.

This week we are praying for Rock the Village, a fun week of outreach, evangelism and discipleship to the 2500+ people living in the Marks Village Public Housing Community beginning today. We are also praying for Mountaintop Community Church and Pastor Doug Ferguson.

DAY 1: Pray for God to use the witness of love, fellowship, and obedience from His people at Rock the Village to encourage other believers and draw unbelievers to ask “why” & “who”. Pray that we would boldly and gently answer - Jesus. Also pray that children of the Village will go to sleep this night with a full stomach.

DAY 2: Pray as we meet Jesus, Immanuel, that the love of God revealed through the birth of Christ would overwhelm us like never before. Also pray that babies in the Village would be treated with loving tenderness, as if from the Father, by someone near to them tonight.

DAY 3: Pray as we meet Jesus, the King, that God would enable all of us to die to ourselves and surrender to the King, laying our lives at His feet. Also pray that children in the Village would have clean clothes to put on in the morning, for they are children of the King.

DAY 4: Pray as we look upon Jesus, the Lamb of God, that God would penetrate all our hearts and minds with the weight of our sin. Praise God with relentless thanks that He removed this weight when He laid down His Son unto death. Also pray that children in the Village will have beds to lay down upon tonight and they will rest knowing the deep, deep love God has for them.

DAY 5: Pray as we respond to Jesus, the Savior of the World, that God will save many today both in Marks Village and in the world! Ask Him to let children in the Village understand their need to be saved, and turn and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Also pray that the children in the Village would sit around a table to eat with a family tonight, as all believers will do when Jesus calls us home and we join Him at the Feast of the Lamb.

DAY 6: Pray and give God thanks for the amazing things He did in Marks Village this week. Ask Him to refresh His people and call some to return to the Village – for the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Humbly ask God to receive all praise, honor and glory as fragrant offerings from His people through their obedience to “GO and make disciples”.

This week we are praying for Long-Term missionary Kristina J. serving in Pune, India. Kristina serves as the Director of the Bright Star School. Kristina has served as Director for the past few years and has helped to develop a successful education system for underprivileged children living in the surrounding communities. Kristina also serves at Houses of Hope, a home for children affected by HIV/AIDS. The Church at Brook Hills had the privilege of sending Kristina out from our faith family and will send a Mid-Termer to serve with Kristina this year. DAY 1: Kristina and her husband Parag just returned to India after spending a few months in the U.S. visiting family. Pray for their family as they transition into a new house and get settled into daily routines once again.

DAY 2: This week, Shaheena, a young girl who inspired the start of Bright Star passed away just two weeks shy of her 15 th birthday. Praise God for Shaheena’s life and for her salvation. Pray for Kristina, other leaders, and the children at Bright Star as they mourn the loss of their dear friend.

DAY 3: Most of the children attending Bright Star School live in poverty. This presents many challenges. Pray for God to get rid of distractions and to put in the children at Bright Star School a desire to learn.

DAY 4: Pray for God to give wisdom to Kristina as she serves and leads the teachers and staff at Bright Star School. Pray for Kristina to find rest in God’s provisions.

DAY 5: There are many of the children who live at Houses of Hope who have become followers of Christ and who are expressing a desire to be baptized. Praise God for His work in the lives of these children. Pray for Kristina as she and other leaders guide the kids through the process of obedience through baptism.

DAY 6: Pray for God to raise up a generation of students from Bright Star School and Houses of Hope who know Him and worship Him. Pray for each family that is represented in these children. Ask God to make Himself known to each family.
