Praise God for the many ways He demonstrates His saving power among and through us. Pray for God to continue to develop unity in our faith family. Pray our individual lives as Christ-followers and our corporate life as a church will serve to illustrate and support our verbal witness to the gospel. Ask God to continue to save people through the ministry of Brook Hills and our members. Ask God to use us as bold witnesses and for our witness to be effective in others becoming interested in Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide our understanding of miracles and their roles in our lives and ministries.

This week we are praying for the Jimmie Hale Mission, a Christian nonprofit organization ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of men, women, and children in the community by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping adults recover from addictions, homelessness, and hopelessness. Ministries of the Jimmie Hale Mission include the Shepura Men’s Center, Jessie’s Place, Discovery Clubs of Alabama, Stewart Learning Centers, Royal Pines, and the Corners of Your Field benevolence program. We are also praying for Christ Church, UMC.

Day 1: Pray that the Mission’s staff, board, and volunteers will be sensitive and submissive to the will of God as they seek His leadership in all their endeavors.

Day 2: Pray that the Mission will be a beacon of hope and a source of strength to those that come their way, providing encouragement and blessing to the lost and hurting.

Day 3: Pray that the Mission’s priority to share the life-changing power of the Gospel with others would remain the driving force behind everything they do.

Day 4: Pray for the Discovery Club after-school Bible clubs that meet in several public schools in our community. Pray specifically that God would send laborers to serve with Oliver Elementary Discovery Club.

Day 5: Pray that God would bring abundant growth and long-term fruit to the seeds that the Mission has sown, and that they would see God at work in the hearts of their clients.

Day 6: Pray that the Mission would not grow weary of doing good while they minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the poor in Jesus’ name.

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Church Planting team to Central Asia. Ryan and Bethany serve with their family and lead the team in Central Asia engaging unreached people groups. Our desire is see God use this team to make His name known and to establish His kingdom among a people where there are very few believers and no known church. Currently Ryan and Bethany are preparing to open a small business that has been in the development phase. Join us this week as we pray for our Central Asia Church Planting team.

Day 1: Ryan and Bethany have been searching and praying for an opportunity to do a big marketing push right as they open to make their products known and God has provided. Thank God for His provisions to give them a platform that is cost-effective and simple.

Day 2: Pray for the remaining details of their business launch to come together. Specifically pray for approval to have their product on display at a large event in their target market.

Day 3: Pray for God to use this event in a powerful way to give their business a strong launch. Pray for God to be honored in their work and in their diligence to be obedient to what He has called them to.

Day 4: Ask God to bring into their path many of the people they are there to share the gospel with. Pray for God to use this business to establish relationships and ultimately His church among the unreached.

Day 5: During this busy season of opening a new business, pray for Ryan and Bethany to enjoy their family and serve one another well.

Day 6: Give thanks to the Lord for His goodness and mercy as He has accomplished all of these things for our Central Asia Church Planting Team. Thank Him for allowing our faith family to be part of the incredible work He is doing in Central Asia.
