The Global Offering is used each year to support our overall global disciple-making efforts. These resources are used to support members of The Church at Brook Hills sent out of this faith family to go serve Short-Term, Mid-Term and Long-Term. Because of the Global Offering, this year alone we have been able to see..

  • 25 Long-Termers and their 25 children living on the field supported

  • 41 Mid-Termers trained, sent, and supported

  • 108 high school and college students receive support to go on Short-Term trips

  • 288 Brook Hills Members trained and sent on 33 Short-Term trips

Your generous giving to the Global Offering does not go unnoticed by the many faithful servants all over the world who receive them. Below are Thank You notes from a few of our partners who were directly impacted by the Global Offering.

Dear Faith Family,

We hope that this Christmas Season is full of much joy as you celebrate the coming of our Savior into the world as a humble baby and excitement as you look forward to His coming as Triumphant King!  We are so very thankful for your partnership.  Your love and kindness is an encouragement to us and your support a blessing.  We miss you all dearly and know we think of you often.  Merry Christmas from the East!

In Him,

Dear Brook Hills,

I cannot thank you enough for your support in my trip to East Asia this past summer.  From the beginning, the Lord showed His goodness by providing support for every dollar of my fee, despite my doubts.  My six weeks in East Asia was one of the most challenging times of my life, but so spiritually rewarding because of Christ’s faithfulness.  God did so much in my time and was gracious enough to use me to pour into the lives of Kevin, Godric, Bush, Flower, Shirley, Chris, and Tracy and see God’s light shine and remove their veils. I witnessed so much fruit but probably none more than in my own heart.  Throughout the trip, the Lord molded my heart and understanding around the importance of the great commission in His followers’ lives by changing my life perspective from one of a “me” to one of a “disciple maker”.  As hard as this trip was, the Lord was so good and drew me closer to Him.  I cannot tell you how appreciative I am for the role you played in the Lord’s work.  Thank you for your faithfulness and thank you for your support.

Love,

Dear Brook Hills,

The work here in Vietnam proceeds and God is good.

I wanted to give you an update on some things and to say Thank You for your generosity.

We were recently able to help a group of believers with the resources you gave to our team here in Vietnam. These are brothers I have known and trusted for over 10 years. We have partnered together for church planting and leadership training throughout the years among the unreached tribal peoples.  A group in a northern province had their building that they meet in burned to the ground and the house of the pastor and leader of the group was destroyed.

To help these believers would cost 10 million in the local currency. Some believers in a neighboring village had heard what had happened and took up a collection of their own resources for their friends and were able to come up with 5 million. Then, because of your gifts, we were able to donate the remaining 5 million to this endeavor, about $225 USD.

Thank you so much for your help to meet the needs of our persecuted brothers and sisters.  We press on with our efforts to train and disciple new believers and we are continuing to see the gospel go forward in the farthest areas of Vietnam.  We are grateful for your generosity and partnership for the advancement of the Kingdom.

Blessings,

Dear Brook Hills,

I am grateful for the financial assistance that I received for a Short-Term Mission trip to the Middle East this year.  I want to give all the glory to God for the mighty ways he worked before, during, and is working after the trip.  God put together an awesome team to go to the Middle East and we started to meet, pray, and prepare for the trip.  God’s word in Psalm 96:3 tells us to declare God’s glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.  God started to prepare our team to do the same in the Middle East.  There we worked alongside a local church to serve God by serving refugees displaced from Syria.  We went into refugee houses and listened to their stories.  We prayed for them in the name of Jesus.  We were used as God’s vessels and were blessed as we sat with people on mattresses over tea and spent time with them.  At some points I was able to share stories of how in Christ, God is transforming my heart to love All he has created and through this love I was compelled to be in the Middle East with them to share this good news of salvation.  I am grateful that God blessed me through the Global Offering to go and allowed me to be on this trip.  “Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” (Psalm 115:1).

With Regards,
