Praise God for His gift of faith and for His never-failing faithfulness toward us. Ask the Spirit to work in us to produce fruit in us and through us. Pray for God to help us all live as His workmanship accomplishing the good works He has prepared for us to do. Pray others will see our good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.

This week we are praying for Nate Farrow and his family as Nate goes to pastor a church replant of Valley View Baptist Church in Leeds in partnership with Valleydale Church.

DAY 1: Pray for God to be glorified in all Nate and the people of Valley View do in the coming days, weeks, and months to prepare for this new work.

DAY 2: Pray for the gospel to be advanced in the city of Leeds and for God to save men, women, and children through the obedience of His church. 

DAY 3: Pray for wisdom and unity for Nate and the church’s leadership as they make decisions and changes needed to prepare for the relaunch in August.

DAY 4: Pray for the Farrows as they transition their life to a new season of ministry. 

DAY 5: Pray for the individuals and families joining the church from Brook Hills and Valleydale to be strengthened and invest fully in this new work.

This week, we are praying for Sara B, one of our Mid Term Partners. Sara lives in Southeast Asia.

DAY 1: Sara is currently studying the local language full time. Pray she will build fluency and gain confidence in the language. Ask God to help her learn spiritual language to be able to share the truth with her local friends.

DAY 2: The majority religion in her country is Islam. Pray for opportunities to meet locals and to build strong friendships. Pray for Sara to be bold in sharing the good news with everyone she meets.

DAY 3: Sara is focused on a large people group where the majority religion is Islam. There are over 40 million people in this people group who are blinded and do not know the truth of the gospel. Pray for there to be an awakening and for Jesus to bring His kingdom to this land.

DAY 4: Pray for Sara and her team to be unified in the gospel and in the mission of Christ. Pray for them to love and serve each other well. Jesus said these words, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12) Pray for them to be faithful in their work and for Jesus to bring about greater works in and through them.

DAY 5: Pray for Sara as she works with and encourages local believers. A friend of hers is starting a women’s Bible study. Pray this would be a time where local believers could see the lostness around them and devote themselves to joining in the work.

DAY 6: Pray for Sara to find her strength every day in the Lord. Pray she would steward her time well. Pray she would seek hard after the Lord and find rest in him.
