Praise God for leading us to a candidate for our Worship Pastor. Ask God to grant us wisdom and discernment as we consider Daniel Renstrom for this role. Pray for the Renstrom family during this time of transition. Pray for God’s provision among the elders, staff, and members of First Baptist Church, Durham, where Daniel has been serving. Ask the Spirit to guide and empower Daniel to lead and shepherd our church well in the area of worship. Pray that God would receive great glory in and through this entire process, both now and in the days ahead.

This week we are praying for Serving You Ministries, a non-profit organization and ministry partner serving the community alongside local churches and organizations by using each person’s spiritual gifting to reach a lost and hurting world. Serving You helps to meet the community’s economic needs through food assistance, bill payments, and school partnerships. We are also praying for Brook Highland Community Church and Pastor Robert Willis.

Day 1: Every person who visits Serving You Ministries hears the Good News of Jesus Christ. Pray for hearts to receive and come to know the One True God.

Day 2: Many clients come to Serving You Ministries in need of financial help. Pray that the leaders would have clear discernment of the need and how best to serve each client.

Day 3: Pray for those seeking help from Serving You Ministries because they have fallen behind in paying their bills due to job loss, family illness, or an unforeseen circumstance in life.

Day 4: Pray for the community service and evangelistic outreach projects occurring monthly in 7 greater Birmingham locations and for the block parties, yard crashers, and other monthly projects that reach neighbors with the Good News.

Day 5: Pray that Serving You Ministries can continue to build and strengthen partnerships with churches and other like-minded non- profits to change our city for the glory of God.

Day 6: Pray for the leadership and ministry team at Serving You Ministries as they use their own unique spiritual gifts to serve Christ in ministry.

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Mid-Termer Candice T. serving in London. Candice works with a local church as a communications and outreach intern. Her main role is to serve St. Paul’s Shadwell by leading outreach groups in the community the church is located in. Join us this week as we pray for Candice and the work she is doing in London.

Day 1: St. Paul’s Shadwell is a small, revitalized church in the Shadwell Basin community. The Lord has been gracious to this faith family and it is a beacon of light in the community. Pray for the Lord to continue to add to their numbers those who are being saved and strengthen the believers who are gathered there.

Day 2: St. Paul’s Shadwell is located in the heart of a community where many unreached people groups live. Pray for the outreach that Candice and the church are doing. Pray for wisdom as they especially reach out to the Muslim community that is in their backyard.

Day 3: Pray for Candice as she leads many of the outreach programs at the church. Pray for the Lord to give Candice wisdom and confidence as she mobilizes and equips the faith family there in evangelism and discipleship.

Day 4: Pray for the Lord to make Candice bold as she shares the gospel and serves the church.

Day 5: Candice only has a few more months until her time is complete in London. Pray for the Lord to give Candice wisdom and discernment for her future. Pray for the Lord to provide for her needs and to give her confidence as she seeks to be obedient.

Day 6: Praise God for the opportunities Candice has had to strengthen the local church. Pray for God’s glory to be made known throughout London and the world by those who are part of the faith family at St. Paul’s Shadwell.
