The Quiet Place is a sensory-friendly room in our preschool area specifically designed where children can come to have a calm place, free of overwhelming sensory stimuli.  This room will be outfitted as a place where they can rest, regulate themselves with the help of their Buddy and return to their classroom.  Children may also start their time at church in this room with their Buddy if needed to help them transition to their small group.

A host is needed on these days and times:

Sunday mornings- 9:00-10:15am

The spiritual gifts of hospitality and service are helpful for this role.  Exposure/experience in the special needs/disability arena would be helpful knowledge.  Hosts can serve on a bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.  A background check is required.
