OBJECTIVE:

Our Brook Hills International Care Team exists to meet immediate physical and civil needs of internationals in Birmingham so that we have the opportunity to develop relationships and meet spiritual needs as well. 

Volunteers can opt to serve on one or any of the current ministry teams.

MINISTRY TEAMS:

• Tangible Needs: Help internationals by picking up and delivering furniture, clothing and food.

• Transportation for ESL Classes: Provide a ride for international students on a weekly basis get to or from Thursday ESL classes. Classes are held at Brook Hills on Thursday mornings and First Baptist Church of Hoover on Thursday evenings.

• As Needed Transportation: Provide a ride for internationals to appointments or grocery stores as needs come up. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Criminal Background Check is Required
• No second language is required
• Volunteer Orientation and Training is Provided
