Harry & Sarah lead a group for couples and singles in their 50's+ who are empty nesters and legacy adults. They meet on Sunday mornings at 7:45 am in room C-114.  We welcome visitors to come and share in our fellowship!

GROUP DETAILS:

Several of the men attend Community Bible Study together, and the women occasionally join for Bible study together on week nights  as well as for Ladies Night Out evenings. We also enjoy participating in missions together, such as Operation Christmas Child and Oak Tree Ministries. Kathy Bley leads our group's prayer ministry by sending regular emails detailing prayer requests and coordinating our prayer/fasting times.

ABOUT THE HANDLINS:

Harry loves deer hunting and is a member of a Christian hunting club in Maplesville, AL. He has also been a participant in the Men’s Community Bible study along with other men in our group for several years. Sarah spends lots of time with their 3 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren, mostly at the beach on the Gulf Coast, and also is a longtime volunteer at Sav-a-life, a crisis pregnancy center in Vestavia.

STUDY:

Our Bible study time is led by Harry and several other group members. We love group discussions and encourage participation. We normally study the sermon from the previous week, and we often have guests share about their mission during our study time.
