Praise God for the privilege of approaching Him in prayer. Pray for us all to diligently seek Him above all things, especially during these next 10 days. Ask Him to speak to us and guide us through this dedicated time of prayer as a church. Pray for many of us to gather together for our prayer and worship gathering.

This week we are praying for Blanket Fort Hope (blanketforkhope.org), a Christian ministry seeking to be a fortress of safety for child survivors of trafficking in Alabama. Blanket Fort Hope provides love and care for child survivors through education, foster care services, trauma-informed therapy sessions, and their new Restoration Home. We are also praying for Chelsea Community Church and Pastor Michael Abrams.

DAY 1: Pray for the children and teens Blanket Fort Hope serves. Pray for God to heal them emotionally, physically, and spiritually from trauma. Pray they would feel safe, secure, and supported at Blanket Fort Hope. Ask God to cultivate hope in them, and pray they would receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

DAY 2: Pray for the foster care services Blanket Fort Hope oversees. Pray for God to continue to raise up Christ-centered individuals and couples to serve as therapeutic foster parents. Pray for God to give them love, compassion, discernment, and patience as they parent. Pray for God to rally communities around them to support them.

DAY 3: Pray for House Parents for the new Restoration Home. Pray for God to raise up House Parents to care for the girls in long term care at the Restoration Home. Ask God to equip them with love, joy, and endurance to serve the girls. Pray they would connect with each girl who comes to the Restoration Home and have long-lasting relationships with them.

DAY 4: Pray for the training and education services Blanket Fort Hope provides to the community. Ask God to continue to open doors to equip medical professionals, foster families, educators, and other community members to identify and care for child survivors. Pray people would use this knowledge to identify trafficking and to respond with compassion to child survivors.

DAY 5: Pray for the volunteers at Blanket Fort Hope. Pray for God to encourage them as they serve the children and staff at Blanket Fort Hope. Ask HIm to open doors for relationships with the children and teens, and pray they would continue to faithfully show God’s love to them.

DAY 6: Pray for the leadership and staff of Blanket Fort Hope. Pray for God to continue to give them perseverance, compassion, and wisdom to navigate each day. Pray for God to protect them from burnout. Ask Him to continue to provide for Blanket Fort Hope in abundance. Pray for them to be faithful stewards of their resources.

This week we are praying for some of our long-termers Josip and Kelly Debeljuh, serving in Croatia.

DAY 1: Pray for Josip and Kelly as they work to develop gospel relationships with their friends, neighbors, and people in their community. Pray for soft hearts and willingness to hear the Good News and respond. Ask God to help them not grow weary in doing good but trust in the work of the Spirit in the lives of their friends.

DAY 2: Ask God to bless and grow Josip and Kelly’s local church. Pray for God to use their church to spread the hope of the gospel and for them to be faithful to minister and love the people in their community.

DAY 3: Pray for Josip as he has opportunities to teach and preach in various churches. Ask God to use him to strengthen the local church and be an encouragement for them.  Pray for local churches in Croatia to be united in spreading the gospel all over this country. Ask God for a movement of His Spirit in Croatia and that people would turn to Christ for true peace and hope.

DAY 4: Ask God to bless Kelly in her efforts to reach women in Croatia in unique ways. Pray women would be drawn to  her painting workshops and that they would encounter gospel hospitality and fellowship. Ask God to open their hearts to be receptive to the Good News.

DAY 5: Pray for Josip and Kelly and their children. Ask God to give them wisdom and enable them to be Spirit led in parenting their children. Pray their adult children will follow Christ and grow deeper in their faith. Ask God to work in the hearts of their younger children, that they would love and follow Christ. 

DAY 6: Ask God to bless and protect Kelly and Josip’s marriage. Pray for them to seek the Lord and remain faithful to be in the Word, pray, and walk by the Spirit. Ask the Lord to give them a deep and abiding love for Him and for each other.
