Praise God for all of our brothers and sisters here in our faith family. Ask Him to help us all care well for one another through all of life’s hardships and struggles. Pray for our Member Care team and ask God to give them each wisdom as they help ensure we provide for the needs in our faith family.

This week we are praying for the ministry of Bundles of Hope (bundlesdiaperbank.com), a Christ-centered non-profit caring for the community by meeting the basic, essential, monthly needs of diapers for Alabama families. Diapers are expensive and not covered by any government program and currently one in two Alabama families struggle to afford diapers for their child. Bundles of Hope Diaper Bank desires to help all families experiencing “diaper need” through church partnerships and Christian non-profits so families will know Jesus’ love and care for them. To date, Bundles has distributed over 10.5 million diapers serving 210,000 Alabama babies. We are also praying for Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor Michael Wesley.

DAY 1: Pray for the clients being served through Bundles of Hope. Pray for God’s presence and blessing to be on their households and for them to experience the love of Christ. Pray for gospel conversations for each church and Christian ministry partner as they care for the most vulnerable in tangible ways.

DAY 2: Bundles of Hope has been given a wonderful opportunity to buy a 22,000 sq/ft facility. Please pray for guidance and wisdom as they navigate this next step of growth. Pray for the volunteers serving throughout the week at Bundles of Hope. Pray they would find great joy in the work they are doing caring for families.

DAY 3: Pray for the 90+ church and community partners that act as the hands and feet of Christ through diaper collection and distributions. Pray for the Lord to bless their desire to see people come to know Christ through the love and care they show daily.

DAY 4: Pray for the amazing donors and supporters of Bundles of Hope. Ask God to bless them for their generosity. Pray for new supporters to join the cause and give generously to the ministry of Bundles of Hope.

DAY 5: Pray for new staff transitions this year. Pray for God to bring the right people to Bundles and for them to be placed in the right roles. Pray for them and their families to be protected from the enemy and to be a continued blessing to our city.

DAY 6: Pray for the 11th Annual Bundles of Hope Diaper Drive happening this week. Please pray for this event to shine light on the valuable work we do, for softened hearts, for hands and feet, and for God’s love to be seen and experienced!

This week we are praying for one of our partners, Compassion International. For more than 70 years Compassion has worked to release children from poverty in Jesus' name through Christ-centered, church-driven, and child-focused ministry. Through your faithfulness in giving, Brook Hills has partnered with Compassion to fund Child Development Centers in Togo, Africa.

DAY 1: Togo is rich in culture and beautiful, coconut tree-filled beaches. It’s also a place many impoverished families call home. And children in these communities suffer through the damaging consequences of poverty. Pray for God to continue to use the local church and Compassion to meet the great and urgent physical needs of children in Togo.

DAY 2: Ask God to bless the work of Compassion with the local church partners in developing and implementing survival programs. Through these programs, pregnant moms receive access to health services, such as prenatal vitamins, medical checkups, and birth attendants.

DAY 3:  Pray for the Lord to raise up additional supporters to engage in sponsoring Togolese children with Compassion. Ask the Lord to provide for children through these sponsorships, and pray for the children who encounter the gospel through Compassion’s programs to come to faith in Christ as soon as they are able. DAY 4: Ask God to protect the programs and local partnerships with churches in Togo. 85% of the children who come through a church sponsored Child Development Center in Togo thrive and do well in their schooling and studies. Pray for these children to continue to grow and thrive.

DAY 5: Pray for the leadership and workers that facilitate programs through the Compassion Child Development Centers in Togo. Ask the Lord to sustain them and provide for their every need. Pray for the Lord to strengthen them and give them great wisdom and discernment as they serve children and families in poverty.

DAY 6: A little over 11% of Togolese are evangelical Christians. Islam is growing and there are a few unreached peoples in Togo. Pray for God to use His church and gospel partnerships like Compassion International to boldly proclaim the Good News to the Togolese people and for many to come to faith in Christ.
