Praise God for being our good Shepherd. Pray for us all to continue to grow in our trust in Him as He cares for us. Pray for Him to help us all hear and recognize His voice and listen to and follow His instruction.

This week we are praying for Sav-A-Life Shelby, a pregnancy resource ministry whose mission is to develop a culture of life and to offer the hope of the gospel. By providing free, confidential services in a compassionate and loving environment to women, men, and families facing an unplanned pregnancy, Sav-A-Life Shelby hopes to see clients across Shelby County choose life for themselves and for their unborn child. We are also praying for Westwood Baptist Church and Pastor Kenneth Bruce.

DAY 1: Pray for the clients seeking help at both the Pelham and Chelsea locations. Pray each one would encounter Jesus and be transformed by the gospel. Pray for each client to choose life for themselves and their unborn child.

DAY 2: Pray for the volunteer workforce of Sav-A-Life Shelby. With the Chelsea location, Sav-A-Life Shelby needs additional client advocates, appointment setters, and scribes. Ask God to raise up new volunteers to serve at both centers. Pray the Chelsea Center especially would continue to become more visible and known in the community.

DAY 3: Pray for the Sav-A-Life Shelby staff and Executive Director, Bobby Lewis, to seek God’s will and yield to His plans for the ministry. Pray for wisdom for the Sav-A-Life Shelby board as they seek God’s guidance and provision.

DAY 4: Pray for the medical care team. Pray, as they help clients see their babies for the first time, the Lord would give them the ability to speak truth in love in every instance. Pray for their hearts and their strength as they seek to strengthen others in hard places.

DAY 5: Pray for financial provision for Sav-A-Life Shelby. Pray for new one-time and recurring monthly donors to give generously for the sake of life.

DAY 6: Pray a prayer of thanksgiving for the forty years Sav-A-Life Shelby has been in existence. Praise God for the many men and women who have served within their doors over the past four decades and the many women and their families who have chosen life throughout the years.

This week we are praying for short-term teams serving in Southeast Asia and with Central Asia workers.

DAY 1: Pray for the short term team headed to Southeast Asia where they will be ministering to indigenous believers from a muslim background people group. Pray for the Lord to use their time in the Word, worship, and prayer to encourage and equip these believers.

DAY 2: Ask the Lord to richly bless the Southeast Asia team and the participants as they facilitate fellowship with these believers who are typically isolated from one another. 

DAY 3: The Southeast Asia team will be conducting biblical training for local church leaders in the area where they will be serving. Pray for the believers to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Word, equipping them to strengthen and encourage their churches when they return.

DAY 4: Pray for the Lord to work in the lives of both of our teams and for the Spirit to lead them and guide them to display the love of Christ and the fruit of the Spirit to those they encounter. 

DAY 5: Ask the Lord to give strength and endurance to our team serving Central Asia workers. Pray this time of service would be an encouragement to the families and individuals serving in Central Asia and for our team to bless them richly.

DAY 6: Pray for the Central Asia workers participating in a time of training and encouragement. Ask the Lord to give them rest, refreshment, and pray they will be strengthened for the work.
