Praise God for His greatness and for hearing and answering all our prayers. Pray we will all better see and comprehend His goodness toward us. Pray for us all to pursue His sustaining strength in our lives to exhibit the righteousness He is working within us.

This week we are praying for Mission Increase, a Christian foundation supporting about 190 Christian nonprofits in Central and North Alabama by offering teaching, coaching, and consulting rooted in a biblical approach to fundraising – all at no cost to ministries. Mission Increase equips donors, nonprofits, and churches to maximize their collective kingdom impact so more lives are transformed for Jesus. We are also praying for Double Oak Community Church and Pastor Adam Robinson.

DAY 1: Pray for ministry leaders throughout the Central Alabama region. Pray for God to strengthen and encourage them to fulfill their calling. Pray specifically for Christian nonprofit leaders you may know – for them to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

DAY 2: Pray for generosity in our region to increase. Pray for more givers to “do good, be rich in good works, be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” (I Timothy 6:18,19)

DAY 3: Pray for collaboration and unity to be expressed among Christian nonprofits, churches, and business leaders. Ask God to help Christian nonprofit leaders to cooperate and collaborate in answer to Jesus' prayer “that they would be perfected in unity.” (John 17:23). Ask God to bring unity and strategies as Mission Increase leads nine Affinity Groups (nonprofit leaders focused on the same cause who meet quarterly) and quarterly Cause Conversations (church, business, nonprofit and government leaders gathering to solve our community’s deepest problems with Kingdom solutions).

DAY 4: Pray for Mission Increase as they teach, coach, and consult regarding a biblical approach to fundraising and organizational development – all at no cost to the ministries they serve (thanks to the generosity of partners like Brook Hills!). Intercede for Kevin Moore, Area Director of Mission Increase Central Alabama as he impacts ministries in Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, and Montgomery.

DAY 5: Pray for nonprofit boards to engage and steward their God-given callings and gifts to lead. Ask God to raise up more board members who have gospel concern for our city.

DAY 6: Pray for nonprofit leaders to view fundraising as ministry. Pray for God to use Mission Increase to empower Christian ministry leaders to see their role in fundraising as a joyful calling, journeying with their donors on a mutually encouraging, discipleship pathway.

This week we are praying for pastors and workers in the country of Türkiye. Through the Global Offering you provided training for Turkish pastors. As they complete their training this week and return home, please be in prayer for the following: 

DAY 1: Pray for the pastors who participated in pastoral training to go home encouraged, refreshed, and challenged by the Word. Ask the Lord to give them a renewed passion to press into loving and serving their churches with compassion, grace, and great wisdom.

DAY 2: Praise God for the growth of the church in the face of increasing pressures and persecution. Ask the Lord to guard and protect these pastors and churches, and pray they would grow in number and strength. Pray for churches to be united in partnership for the spread of the gospel.

DAY 3: Ask the Lord to continue to grow these pastors in maturity and faith as they grow in knowledge. Pray the love of Christ would dwell in them richly and that same love would overflow to their congregations.

DAY 4: Pray for the leadership of Türkiye, and ask the Lord to raise up leaders who would serve in humility, make wise decisions in the interests of their citizens, and lead the country with integrity and honesty.

DAY 5: Ask the Lord to give strength to workers in Türkiye to stand firm in their faith. Pray for the Lord to help them to overcome any challenges they face and for them to remain steadfast in their commitment to Christ. Pray their faith would be a beacon of light to others.

DAY 6: Pray for the protection of workers in  Türkiye. Ask the Lord to guard them from any internal or external conflicts. Pray the Lord would protect their efforts to share the gospel and make disciples. Ask the Lord to give them favor and shield them from those who are hostile to the gospel, and pray God’s peace would settle on this country.
