Praise God for how He guards, protects, leads, and guides us. Thank Him for the men and women who have selflessly served our nation as members of our armed forces. Pray for God’s comfort for our veterans, for them to know His peace.

This week we are praying for Blanket Fort Hope, a Christian ministry that seeks to become a fortress of safety for child victims of human trafficking by providing love and care through education and prevention, housing, legal services, and a long-term commitment to forge a path of purpose and hope for child survivors. We’re also praying for Grace Life Baptist Church of Bessemer and Pastor Joel Frederick.

Day 1: Pray for the staff and volunteers of Blanket Fort Hope as they advocate for the rescue and restoration of child survivors. Pray for the Lord to continue to expand their numbers and grant grace to their efforts as they seek to build their first restoration home in Shelby County (Ephesians 5:1).

Day 2: Pray for salvation for the children Blanket Fort Hope serves. Pray for hope and healing to be restored to their lives (Matthew 19:14).

Day 3: Pray for humble, willing, servant champions to join the Blanket Fort Hope Junior Board. Pray they would bring glory to God’s name as they serve (Ephesians 4:1-2).

Day 4: Pray for the staff and board of Blanket Fort Hope. Pray for them to have godly wisdom, discernment, and protection in their leadership roles (James 1:5).

Day 5: Pray for financial provision. Pray for Blanket Fort Hope to reach their end-of-year giving goal of $50,000 (Matthew 6:4).

Day 6: Pray for God to raise up generous champions to donate the $1.2 million needed to build the restoration home without any debt. Pray for the Lord to be leading those champions to Blanket Fort Hope even now (2 Corinthians 9:7).

This week we are praying for Brook Hills Mid-Termer, Josh S., serving in Spain. Josh is part of a Long-Term team engaging people with the gospel and strengthening the local church to see more churches planted throughout his city. Join us this week as we pray for Josh.

Day 1: Praise God for the opportunities Josh has had to invest in the local church in Spain. Pray for God to continue to grow Josh in his leadership and give him opportunities to strengthen believers through the word of God.
  
Day 2: Josh will be traveling this week for a conference with other teammates. Pray for this conference to be encouraging and refreshing for Josh as he spends time with coworkers.

Day 3: Spain is a postmodern culture, making it very difficult to share the gospel. Pray for God to make Josh winsome with his friends and to give him the endurance required to faithfully share the gospel with those he is meeting. 

Day 4: Praise God for giving Josh the opportunity to lead a friend of his to Christ this summer. Pray for his friend, “A,” to continue to grow in his knowledge of the Word and for his faith to grow as he learns more about Christ.

Day 5: Pray for Josh to abide in the Word and set his priorities on the things that God has called him to in Spain.

Day 6: Pray for the church to grow in Spain. Pray for God to use Josh and his teammates to strengthen the believers there and to plant more churches throughout the city.
