Ministry Role & Responsibility: As Media Coordinator and part of the creative team, I take care of in-house video production, worship gathering broadcasts, and heading up photographic projects. I also manage media volunteers: Sunday morning video crew, photography team, and production film crew.
About Me: I grew up on the Gulf Coast as a worship pastor’s daughter with deep roots in musicianship. I started undergrad in Worship Leadership at the University of Mobile but found myself with a camera constantly in my hands. I started a photography business in 2008. After working on feature film/television crews as a summer job, I changed gears and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Digital Cinema and Film degree. I moved to north Alabama in 2015 and met my husband, Luke, on the Event Coordinating team at Shocco Springs Camp and Conference Center. We were married by the lake at Shocco about three years later to the date.
It has been incredible to see my diverse (and seemingly unrelated) skills and passions come together for ministry like only God can do. One of my favorite aspects of video production is integrating music in an intentional way – bringing those two worlds together. I also love working with young creatives, helping them get past the technical bits to find a voice. My favorite days are production days — behind the camera, on location getting my hands dirty, and telling someone’s story.
My freelance work continues under the moniker Sweet Light Imaging.

"But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." – Psalms 1:2-3
Interesting Fact: I like to kayak with my Aussie rescue dog Mayer.
