The gospel is a message of hope for weary, broken world. Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection pull us into a future where all that is wrong is made right and where our distances between us and God is closed. This hope echoed out from the Middle East in the first century and that echo eventually landed in Birmingham, AL where we enjoy this hope now. But hope’s echo doesn’t stop with us. Its desire is to reverberate from us. And it is!
Echoes of hope are reverberating around the world due to your faithfulness to give to the Global Offering. Global Offering is a fund we gather annually to support our missionaries and strategic projects around the world. This is a primary way we ensure hope extends to those whom have yet to hear its echo. By giving to the Global Offering, Brook Hills, you are giving the nations the chance to hear the only message that unites people to Jesus on whom all of our future depends.
This year we also have an advent guide you can pick up at the church offices during the week or during Sunday gatherings in December. Individuals and families can also track hope’s echo through the Global Offering through a coloring map of the world that correlates with each day. Children will also enjoy the interactive piece we’ve created to learn more about the peoples and places where hope is on the way.
