Walking through foster care brings some unique challenges that can leave you feeling very isolated. Through our Foster Care Support Group, you can come build community with people who "get it." It's not a place to come for all the answers, it's a group of people to link arms with – to encourage and equip each other to care for the fatherless in our community. We will also link recently licensed newbies to seasoned veterans.
The goals for our foster family support group meetings are to provide a safe place to share, talk, laugh, cry, and pray, as well as to equip foster parents with the tools and resources necessary to best love and nurture the children that the Lord brings into their homes and hearts.
We meet each Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm. **Due to the current Brook Hills construction project (beginning Summer 2019), Brook Hills On Campus Small Groups are in transition. Please confirm this Small Group’s location by emailing Anita below, stopping by the Welcome Desk on Sundays or Wednesdays, or stopping by the Small Group kiosk on Sunday morning. We would love to help get you connected.
If you are attending the group for the first time, please fill out the registration form below prior to coming in order to reserve childcare during the meeting. Email Anita with any questions or for more information.
