Vocation in the Grand Story of Scripture
God created each of us for the purpose of playing a unique role in His grand story. In Ephesians 2:10, Paul says we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Thus, every Christian employee has been created by God, gifted by God, and called by God to play a unique role in God’s plan. These good works will include customer interactions, working with fellow employees of your company, and works to bring hope to the world. It’s a stirring thought to think that God created each one of us, gifted us, and called us to play a particular role in changing the world from your unique place of employment. Each of us was created for this grander story!
This study will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am, October 22, 29, and Nov. 5 in Room B313. Led by Darin White.
