Jay and Liz lead a multi-generational group in their home on Sundays at 6:30pm. Guests are always welcome to join!
COVID UPDATE: We currently meet in the driveway in lawn chairs socially distanced with masks optional. Bathroom is available.
We have 16 people in our group and we average 10-12 in attendance, including people in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's. We have mostly married, but some single. All are welcome. The latest new group members came in June 2020.
We are a group that loves discussion of God's word and how to apply it to our lives. We'll often do lessons based on the sermon, but sometimes we'll do a special topical study or a book of the Bible. Whatever our focus, we want to leave with a challenge to do something in the following week that will take us one step more like Christ.
We live in Forest Parks Subdivision and usually meet there. (There are actually two subdivisions called Forest Parks. We live in the one off Hwy. 43, about one mile east of Hwy. 280.) Once every couple of months we'll meet somewhere else.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE (Prior to Coronavirus)
6:00pm Dinner (We all pitch in and bring something.)
6:40pm Prayer Time
7:15pm Bible Study
8:30pm People actually leave (We enjoy talking!)
We currently don't have childcare on a weekly basis, but have teens of people in our group who would be glad to help with a little notice. Again, we're open to all and would love to make provision for children.
HOW TO CONNECT
Click the "Contact Group Leader" button below and send a message to us. We'll confirm the meeting location for that week, childcare needs, and food plans. Of course, you won't need to bring anything your first visit. You are welcome to visit just to see if the group is a fit for you.
