About me: This (2017-2018) is my second year working with the preschoolers at Brook Hills, and I love every minute of it. I love listening to them tell me what is on their heart. I love watching them grow and learn in the Christ-centered setting of Brook Hills.

My husband, Isaac, and I have been married for over 22 years. We have three children: Isaac (20), Anna (18), and Rachel (16). We are a military family and have lived in nine different states (some of them more than once) and have also lived in Japan. I enjoy running, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family. I am currently training for my first half marathon in December.

A few of my favorite things:

  • Food: Anything salty (french fries, popcorn, or chips)
  • Drink: Coffee
  • Season: Fall
  • Books: Lineage of Grace series & Sons of Encouragement series by Francine Rivers, Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman, The Boxcar Children series, and Kiss Good Night by Amy Hess
  • Vacation: Mountains and/or lakes are my happy spot

Educational Philosophy:

For all the children to learn and grow through play, books, and music in a Christ-centered environment.

Favorite Scripture and Prayer:

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
