About me: The 2017-2018 school year is my first year teaching at the Brook Hills ELC in the two-year-old classroom. My experience with teaching has been focused on educating my three children at home for the past 15 years, which also included some classroom co-op instruction. Teaching  kindergarten through high school was a challenge that could only be accomplished by the Lord working through me. He was gracious to provide everything we needed in order to prepare my children for college and life.

My favorite thing to do with young children is to read good books with them and to see their eyes light up and smiles appear. I love to answer their questions and to ask them questions to discover how they think and feel. It's a blessing to watch them learn and grow as they discover the world around them.

When I'm not teaching at the ELC, I enjoy spending time with my children and two grandchildren. I also like to read and cook.

A few of my favorite things:

  • Colors: Green and brown
  • Foods: Mexican and pizza
  • Bookstore: Amazon

Favorite Scripture:

For they drank from the spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ. –1 Corinthians 10:4
