A Women’s Summer Study on Anxiety

Childcare: Birth - 5th grade by Reservation
Community Room - Main Lobby
The Church at Brook Hills
(7:00-8:30pm - by Zoom)
Do you worry? About your children, your families, and the world? Do you have anxious thoughts that drive you to despair and hopelessness? Do you need encouragement and practical ways to fight anxiety and worry? If so, join us this summer!
Our five-week summer study is designed with you in mind:
The study will encompass light weekly reading, table talk discussion time, guided activities through Scripture, and Brook Hills women’s stories of hope. It will be presented in a simple format and will offer biblical encouragement for your stress, worries, and anxiety. It will provide a clear understanding of what the Bible says about anxiety and worry and how you can trust God in those times. We will look at what Scripture has to say about what we think and how we feel in anxious moments.
We also acknowledge that there are many contributing reasons for anxiety, and we encourage women to talk to medical professionals or professional counselors about possible biological contributors to their anxiety.
