Attention All Rising 6th Graders and Parents:
On August 9th and 10th, we would love for upcoming 6th graders and their parents to join us for a weekend of fun, friends, and an introduction to Student Ministry you won't soon forget.
On Friday, August 9th, we will gather at the Student Building from 6:00-8:00pm. We will give students and their parents a quick overview of who we are and the vision God has given us to pursue here at The Church at Brook Hills. We will have games, a pizza dinner, and a time of Q&A for parents that will fill you in on everything you need to know before we kick off our fall programming on Connect Sunday, August 11th. (Childcare will not be provided.)
On Saturday, August 10th, students will meet back at the Student Building at 9:00am for a day of fun at Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure. The registration fee covers a pizza dinner for students and parents on Friday night, all activities Saturday, as well as lunch during the day and Chick-fil-A on the way home. Students can be picked up at the Student Building at 7:00pm.
The cost for the weekend will be $55 per 6th grader. This includes dinner for parents and students on Friday night, both meals on Saturday, a t-shirt, transportation, and all activities for students on Saturday.
The forms listed below are MANDATORY for participation in Weekend56 and must be completed prior to the event.
Medical Release Form: Once you fill this form out, it will last for every event through the entire school year, until Aug 2020.
Consent Form: This is a one-time form that must be completed for any off-campus event.
**Each of these forms must be notarized. If you would like to get them notarized at the church, you can visit McKenzie at the Student Building from 9-5 Monday-Thurs.
