The purpose of this course is to introduce students to a biblical, theological, historical, and practical overview of Christian missions. Particular attention will be given to the role of the local church and its ministries. This course is intended to provide the foundational Biblical equipping and ministry training for Brook Hills’ members serving in Local Mission, leading Short-term teams, and going as Mid-term, and Long-term field missionaries.

  • When Helping Hurts, by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert, forward by David Platt

This class will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM in Room 130. Registered students will receive an e-mail one week prior to the course start date with information on how to access the online training. There is no cost for IDM classes other than the reading materials, but you must be a member of Brook Hills in order to register.
