Book Review: The True Woman
Dawn Stephens
True Woman by Susan Hunt is a serious and extremely well written study of the attributes of what Scripture describes as a “godly woman.”
Susan is a well respected and mature believer who has dedicated her life to teaching women about the blessings and challenges of living a life that models Titus 2:3-5.
In the book, Susan teaches us about characteristics and challenges of living as godly women while telling real women’s stories in each chapter. She also compares and contrasts what Scripture says about what a Christian woman should look like versus what our culture says women should like. She also teaches us four virtues of Christian women, including a very strong and clear last chapter on submission.
A leader’s guide is also included in the back of the book to guide a small group study as well.
