More Creative Ways to Learn Scripture with Your Celebration Kid!
Bible Verse Memory Rings
Materials Needed: Hinged Key ring or clip, Small business sized cards, Paper Punch
On each card, print or type phrases of scripture--10-15 words at a time--including the reference. Put them in order on the ring. Using ring, memorize a phrase at a time until the entire scripture is memorized.
Back and Forth Game
Practice saying scripture with your Celebration Kid using the "back and forth" method with each phrase. Divide the scripture up into phrases (or by verse). When your child becomes familiar with the scripture practice saying the scripture by phrase, taking turns with your Celebration Kid a phrase at a time.
Family Dinner Scripture
As your family sites around the dinner table, have each person say one word, or phrase, of scripture. The person at the head of the table should start by giving the Scripture reference.
