New! Scripture Memory Fun
Join us for a night of Worship and Celebration, Wednesday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. Celebration Kids ages 4 through grade 5 will lead us in a night of worship and share with you what they have learned in God's Word this year. We will also celebrate the accomplishments of many of our Celebration Kids with a brief awards ceremony at the end of the service.

New! Night of Worship and Celebration
All Celebration Kids, ages 4 through grade 5 will participate in our night of worship and celebration. Please make note of the following dates:

May 14 - Rehearsal Night; All classes, ages 4 - grade 5 will rehearse together for
our Worship service during Celebration Kids.
May 21- All Celebration Kids need to report to the Worship room at 6: 00 p.m.
for warmup and sound check. Please wear your royal blue Celebration Kids
t-shirt and jeans.
Celebration Kids T-Shirts will go on sale in the lobby on May 7 and 14 for $12.
May 21 will be our last night of Celebration Kids.

What Is Celebration Kids?
Celebration Kids is our mid week Choir and Bible study program for Pre-K through grade 5. Our goals are:

• To teach what worship is and support the development of worship as a part of each child’s spiritual growth.
• Use music as a tool for teaching spiritual truth about scripture.
• Provide an environment where children can develop their God-given gifts and abilities to His glory.
• Teach children to be ministers by using their gifts and abilities to share God's Word and encourage others in Christ.
• Teach children how to study the word of God, its importance in their lives and encourage them to treasure God’s word through scripture memory.
• Develop relationships between children and caring adults who will lead the children to an understanding of God and his plan for their life.

Parent Resource Pages
Each week Celebration Kids will be taking home a Parent Resource Page. These pages are provided so that you, the primary faith nurturers of your child, will be able to reinforce and apply at home what the child has been learning in class. We encourage you to use these pages to go deeper with your children and help them apply all the truths that they are learning from God’s word to their lives. Each page will contain the key verse the kids are encouraged to memorize as well as the key themes and concepts covered in class each week. They also contain activities and discussion topics to guide you in further study with your child.
