Ania Harris

College Ministry Assistant

Ministry Role & Responsibility: I work within our college ministry, and help out wherever there is need. I do administrative work, help with any events or conferences that we put on for our students, and also try to connect students to different small groups.

About Me: I moved to Birmingham in 2012 from Athens, Georgia. Even though I've lived in the south for a while, I'm a northerner at heart, having grown up in the Philadelphia area. I got married last year and my husband and I live in Pelham, Alabama with our dog, Hercules. I also have a degree in Religion and Christian Ministries from Liberty University. Different things I love include: coffee, spending time with my small group, traveling, reading, and (good) sci-fi.

Favorite Scripture:

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.  - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Interesting Fact: I have done mid-term missions in both Italy and Africa. I love learning about different cultures, and wouldn't trade those experiences for anything.
