Global Care Associate

Ministry Role & Responsibility: As the Global Care Associate, I am privileged to walk alongside our Sent Ones to help them not just survive life overseas, but thrive! My role is to care for our Sent Ones, from the initial phases of desiring to go, while they’re overseas, and upon returning to the USA, as well as to lead our faith family to care for them through prayer, support, and in tangible ways. I work closely with the Member Care team to ensure that our Sent Ones feel loved, supported, and cared for.

About Me: I grew up in Homewood. I graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Musical Theatre, and again in 2004 with a Master’s in Secondary Education Language Arts. I met Brad, the man of my dreams, at Montevallo and married him in 2003. We spent two years in Tanzania and nine years in the Middle East, serving and loving the Lord. We have three amazing kids: Lucy, Will, and Matt.

Favorite Scripture:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  — Philippians 4:6-7

Interesting Fact: I can speak Arabic and some Swahili—even though I went to college and got a Bachelor's of Science in Musical Theatre, so I wouldn't have to learn any foreign languages.
