Ministry Role & Responsibility: As the Media Coordinator, I'm responsible for the live video support during worship gatherings, video production, photography, podcasts, and all the various things that fall under the media umbrella.
About Me: I grew up on the Gulf Coast as a worship pastor’s daughter with deep roots in musicianship. I started undergrad in Worship Leadership at the University of Mobile and found myself with a camera constantly in my hands. I started a photography business in 2008. After working on feature film/television crews as a summer job, I changed gears and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Digital Cinema and Film degree. I moved to north Alabama in 2015 and met my boyfriend, Luke, on the Event Coordinating team at Shocco Springs.
It has been incredible to see my diverse (and seemingly unrelated) skills and passions come together for ministry in a way that only God can orchestrate. One of my favorite aspects of video production is integrating music in an intentional way – bringing those two worlds together. When I'm not working, I enjoy frequenting local coffee shops, cooking, boating/kayaking, exploring Birmingham, shooting photos on film, trying different ethnic foods, discovering new folky/acoustic artists, and spending time with my two younger brothers.
My photography side-job endeavor has bloomed into a natural light portrait photography business that includes cinematography, web design, and consulting – and it continues today as Sweet Light Imaging.

“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” - Psalm 1
Interesting Fact: I am on IMDb.
