 When You Are Lonely
"I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you." Hebrews 13:5c (NAS)
The promises of God are sure. "For as many as may be the promises of God, in Him (Christ) they are YES; we need but speak the Amen to the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 1:20 (Paraphrase)
Ask God to make this promise real to you.
A Prayer:
Lord, I thank You that You will never desert me nor forsake me. I believe Your promise. Therefore I confess that I am never alone. You are always with me. Help me to remember this when I am feeling alone. Raise up friends that I can have a relationship with. Help me to remember that I can always have a relationship with You. Teach me to hear You so that when I feel alone I can talk with You as friend to friend. Help me to focus on You instead of being lonely. Amen.
