"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."  John 1:12

Lord, I have received You by faith.  I know You cannot lie.  You promised I would become a child of God by believing in You.  I will not rely on my feelings, I will trust Your Word.

"And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life." 1 John 5:11-12

Lord, life is in the Son.  Your Word says "If I have the Son, I have Your life in me."  I believe You, not my doubts.  You cannot lie.  (See John 3:36)

"I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

Lord, my salvation does not depend upon my performance but upon Your trustworthiness.  I believe in You!  You are my salvation!
