"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."  Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

The prayer that Paul prayed for the Christians at Ephesus is a prayer for you also.  He prayed for your eyes to be opened to see the hope to which you have been called.  God chose beforehand that you should be conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus  (see Romans 8:29).  This is the bottom line of God's will for you, Christlikeness.  This is the hope to which you have been called.  "Beloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when He appears we shall be like him..."

The second truth from the passages above is that you are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God prepared beforehand that you should walk in.  God wants you to be like Jesus and He already has a plan for you, prepared beforehand for you to walk in. 

This truth is realized and discovered by spending time with Jesus and becoming intimate with Him and His Word.  Jesus wants you to check in daily to see what His plan for the day is.  Discovering God's will is a day by day thing.  He reveals all you need for each day, one day at a time.  His plan will fit you perfectly.  Intimacy requires work and time together.  There is no greater honor than being like Jesus!
