God Has a Way

Story: Crossing the Red Sea (Exodus 14-15:2)

The Main Idea
God has a way.

At Home

  • Make references to “my way,” “your way,” God’s way” this week, pointing out that God’s way is always best.

  • Remind your child that the children of Israel were afraid when Pharaoh’s fighting men were chasing them.

  • Talk to your child about being afraid. What can you do when you are afraid? Remind your child of Psalm 56:3 – “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you [God]”.

  • Talk about how God is helping your family this week.

  • Thank God for making a way for His people and for being strong.

  • Thank God for taking care of your family.
