In light of Pastor Matt's sermon series Imago Dei and Brook Hills statement on Race, Racism, and the Gospel, City Ministries will be leading a series of book studies on the topic of justice and racial reconciliation over the next year.

The first of these studies will be on Tim Keller's book, Generous Justice. This book was recommended by City Ministries Pastor, Keith Stanley. In this book, Keller challenges many preconceived beliefs about "doing justice" and presents the Bible as a fundamental source for promoting justice and compassion for those in need. In Generous Justice, he explores a life of justice empowered by an experience of grace: a generous justice. This book offers readers a new understanding of modern justice, human rights, and racial reconciliation that will resonate with both the faithful and the skeptical.
