Life Change Weekend is a one-day opportunity, Saturday, February 2, 2008, to apply God’s Word to your life issues and challenges through a variety of topical workshops. The cost is $20 per person, including all workshop materials, continental breakfast and lunch.

Safe People
If you’ve ever been in a relationship where you were used, abused or abandoned, then this workshop is for you. It will look at three components of safe relationships:

• Learn what is an unsafe person
• Why do I choose unsafe relationships?
• What are safe people?

This workshop will help you make wise choices in relationships and you will also learn how to avoid repeating your own mistakes and how to pick safe, healthy people for the friends you make and the company you keep. Led by Adam Calvert, L.P.C. and Bonnie Roberts, L.P.C.

Nine Most Important Needs of Foster and Adopted Children
Early separation and painful experiences can create an imprint within a child’s brain and body-mind system causing a lifelong impact.  We will expand our awareness of adoptive children’s behavior by taking a deeper look into its origin and learning to meet their emotional needs. We will watch several short video clips from a presentation by B. Bryan Post, and Juli Alvarado, from The Post Institute and then discuss some of these needs. Led by Sue Burmeister.
