DivorceCare is a small group designed to help adults heal from the pain of divorce. Using video teaching and group discussion, this class has been a huge turning point for many people walking the road of divorce recovery. If you walked through a divorce recently or many years ago, this group can help you heal from those hurts in a biblical and gentle way.
Men and women will meet together for the video portion of our meeting then meet separately, men with men and women with women for the discussion portion of our meeting. A workbook is suggested to enhance your personal study outside of the class, but it is not required to attend the class. The cost of the workbook is $15 (please bring exact change or a check made payable to The Church at Brook Hills).
For the Fall 2017 semester, this co-ed group meets on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm, in Modular 2-A at Brook Hills. Click here to view the full schedule.
On November 8, we will devote one Wednesday out of the semester to a workshop called "Surviving the Holidays." Click here for details and to sign up.
Please check out the DivorceCare curriculum and resources at this site as well as register for a daily email devotion.
Childcare is available for preschoolers, children, and students as part of our regular Wednesday evening activities. Students in grades 6-12 will meet down the hill in the Student Building. Go to the Welcome Desk at the main entrance of the church for childcare with children and preschool.
No pre-registration is required for DivorceCare, and if you have any questions, please contact Rebekah Forester at (205)-313-7769.
