What an incredible honor it is to be a mom! Think about the first few months and years of motherhood and the many wonderful memories that flood to your mind: rocking a newborn, the smell of a baby, those precious cheeks, the first smile, when you teach them to sing "Jesus Loves Me..."
Do you also remember how tired you were, or how you longed for adult conversation? Remember how you needed to be spiritually fed? Whether you are a first time mom or a veteran with a growing family, a mom of preschoolers or teenagers, a single or working mom--the MOMS ministry is for you.

MOMS is for Moms!
The MOMS group exists to offer encouragement to mothers of children of all ages, as well as promoting spiritual growth and accountability while providing an environment to build strong relationships.

Monthly Meetings
Join us the second Tuesday of each month (September through May) from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Room 304. During each meeting there is time for food, fellowship and prayer. A guest speaker is invited each month and shares insights on being a godly mother, wife and friend. Childcare is provided by reservation (contact Mary Cannon at 205.313.7709 or mary.cannon@brookhills.org, at least one week in advance).
Connect Through MOMS
If you're new to the church and looking for a new friend or a small group to fit in with, then come join us at MOMS. We want to welcome you and get you connected with this group of women. We are planning on meeting at Panera Bread on the first Monday of every month. We will meet at the Lee Branch location at 10:00 a.m. If you have any questions about MOMS, please call Beth Middleton at 205.408.9740 or beth@myplandesign.com, Jacqueline Diercks at 205.437.3351 or Annette Vourlotis at 205.978.9898, your outreach team for MOMS. We hope to see you there. We'll get you introduced to a group of women that you will connect with for life.
What MOMS Has Meant to Me...
"The meets help to encourage us as moms and as wives. It's a place where we can laugh, cry, pray for each other and just be ourselves."
"I cannot even begin to tell you what MOMS has meant to me. The speakers in the monthly meetings have provided me with encouragement and guidance with a godly focus. This has been one way I feel truly connected to my church..."
"MOMS has been such a blessing to me. It has been a key factor in getting me involved in wonderful, mentoring relationships with other women and mothers. It has been a great way for me to 'fuel up' each month. Each time I come, I leave encouraged and challenged in my faith as a mother, wife and woman."
"MOMS helped me realize that the most important thing God has given me is my family, and He wants me to do my 'job' to the best of my ability. Thank you all so much for being such a blessing to me and my kids!"
Mentoring Classes
Help moms with practical and spiritual life skills. They are offered in the fall and spring. These classes are a way to learn from the lives of those who have been before. Mentoring is a blessing for all.
MOMS Night Out
Moms Night Out happens monthly to build strong relationships among our moms. It might be a fellowship at someone's home, dinner and a movie, or a couples' night out--who knows!? One thing is for sure, you'll be encouraged and have fun.
