 Join the Club!
Join us on July 28-July 31 for Back-yard Bible Clubs from 9:00-11:00 a.m. or 6:00-8:00 p.m. On August 1 we will have a carnival Event 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Children's Ministry and Student Ministry are taking hte Gospel to the streets with Back-Yard Bible Clubs. We need you as we "Rock the Block" in neighborhoods and subdivisions throughout the greater Birmingham area! A Preschool Back-Yard Bible Club will be available for parents who serve as teachers in "Rock the Block." Read below to see how you can serve!
Host Home
You offer your back yard or front yard as the site for one of the Back Yard Bible Clubs. You must also have a garage or basement that can be used in the event of inclement weather. You must be present each day at your home to serve in the role
of “Host”.
Student Leader
For Students in grades 9-12. You will be serving with a team of 3 Students and 2 adults in leading a Back Yard Bible Club at one of the Host Homes.
Adult Leader
Adults will be serving with a team of 3 Students (grades 9-12), and one other Adult in leading a Back Yard Bible Club at one of the Host Homes.
Preschool Leader
Adults will be leading the preschoolers of our Adult leaders and Adult Drivers in Bible study and fun activities here on campus from 8:00 a.m.-noon.
Middle School Students
Students entering 6th-8th grades will serve on campus preparing materials, copying, sorting supplies and readying all necessary items to be used each day by the “Rock the Block” teams.
Adult Drivers
Adults drive a “Rock the Block” team of 5 to their assigned Host Home location, stay with the team at the Host Home, and drive the team back to campus at the conclusion of the Back Yard Bible Club.
Carnival Team
Booth/Games Coordinator, Hospitality Coordinator, Parking/Security Coordinator, Food/Drink Coordinator, Door Prize Coordinator and Clean-Up Coordinator.
