Small Groups
Discipleship happens in relationship. Therefore, the goal of college small groups is to see God form biblical community among college students that is marked by great mercy for each other, for people in Birmingham, and all nations.
Brook Hills College Small Groups are simply means by which Christians grow in their walk with Christ and see the Gospel multiplied in others&rsquo lives. College Small Groups meet on or around College Campuses in dorm rooms, coffee shops, apartments etc.
Our College Small Groups are posted below. There is always the opportunity for you to start a new group among your circle of friends and/or fellow students!

Forming a new Small Group
Whether you are in a sorority, play Ultimate, or are an RA in a dorm- God has specifically placed you in others' lives for His glory to be revealed. If you are interested in beginning a Disciple-making small group through the relationships God has entrusted to you, please contact to discuss how the College Ministry staff can encourage and equip you to accomplish God's mission for your life--"making disciples of all nations."
Steps to forming a new Small Group:
- Answer the question: Is leading a College Small Group the most effective way for me to make disciples of all nations in my current life-stage and situation?
- Meet with College Ministry staff for an interview; fill out Small Group Leader Profile and sign the Deacon Covenant
- Prayerfully consider who could help co-lead your group.
- Prayerfully determine where your circle of influence is? Dorm, Greek life, intramural team, friends, etc.
- Begin developing a disciple-making plan for your new group (The College Team, i.e. Britten and Stephanie, will help you in this process).
- Determine a meeting time, location, and disciple-making curriculum (Small Group Guide is a great tool for new small group leaders)
- Go to those you desire to be a part of your group and share with them the vision for your group.
- Pick a starting date.
- Start your group and begin to implement your disciple-making plan.
