Small Groups
In age-graded, gender specific, small groups, we stress relationship building between the kids and their Faith Trainers. Our Faith Trainers intentionally shepherd your kids by modeling Christ’s love and providing activities that are applicable to the lives of today’s kids.
Curriculum
We use a curriculum entitled “Children Desiring God”. This curriculum focuses on teaching kids who the God of the Bible is and teaches the Word in a systematic, concise way. In 2009-2010 our 1st and 2nd Graders will study “Faithful To All His Promises”, a study on the promises of God. 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders will study “To Be Like Jesus”, a study for children on following Jesus.
Large Group Time
In addition to Small Groups, kids also engage in a Large Group time where we teach Scriptural truths in a kid-friendly way through drama, praise, and worship. In addition to Small Groups and Large Group Time we believe it is very important that children and their parents attend a worship gathering together as a family on Sundays at 9:00a.m., 11:00a.m. or 6:00 p.m.
Prayer Time
Prayer Time is an intentional part of our Large Group and Small Group time together. Each week children have the opportunity to talk to God aloud by leading in prayer in Large Group worship or in their Small Groups.
