Missions Organizations
The following short-term Missions Organizations offer trips nationally and
internationally. Each of these organizations are led by members of the Church at Brook Hills, are based locally here in Birmingham and are endorsed by our Global
Disciple-Making Ministry. They are knowledgeable, experienced, and provide
great opportunities to join a short-term mission team.
When you choose to go on a trip with one of these Missions Organizations,
they handle the logistics, finances, forms, insurance, and all other details
pertaining to the trips they offer. Please contact these organizations directly
for more information or to register for one of their mission teams.
NOTE: All payments will be handled directly by the Missions Organizations.
Their policies and procedures apply in full. Please make checks payable directly
to the organization you are traveling with and consult with them for guidelines
about contributions.

By Provision is a non-profit ecumenical Christian organization that exists to enable people to sustain a quality of life that they can perpetuate. Given that clean water and education are the foundation upon which people can achieve health and development, their projects are focused in these areas. Their programs are designed to be a tangible, visible expression of God’s grace. Biblical teaching is integrated into their projects, giving participants a chance to respond to the Gospel. Today, By Provision has volunteers, both in the US and Africa, from a wide range of backgrounds including teachers, small business owners, hydro-geologists, engineers, doctors, marketing specialists and students.

Dan Moran Ministries serves
the poor and needy in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. DMM is passionate about leading
people of this generation to meet Christ where they are. Dan has led teams for
many years to the poorest of the poor in Honduras and hopes to lead them to
Christ as he works with the Church in Honduras to encourage and strengthen the

Neverthirst is a Christian faith-based non-profit which is dedicated to providing clean and living water to the poor through the local church. They currently work in the Central African Republic, India and Sudan. Neverthirst was birthed out the calling of God on the lives of some members of our faith family at Brook Hills, and they currently have many opportunities for people to volunteer to serve.

The vision of One Way Ministries is to share the message of the Gospel through effective
evangelism training with believers and church leaders, to encourage church
leaders in disciple-making, and to reach impoverished, forgotten, and desperate
people by motivating and mobilizing believers to take first steps to reaching
the world with the message of eternal hope. For more information about

Rejoice and Hope Ministries International (RHMi)
was established for the purpose of serving the people of
Tanzania, East Africa. RHMi accomplishes this purpose through meeting spiritual
and physical needs in addition to providing education and training. Some of the
various ministries are conferences designed for pastors, women, youth or
business leaders, medical clinics, children's programs, and widow and orphan
care. RHMi leads a team to Tanzania each summer.

Servant Life is a ministry
initiated by Student Life to provide mission experiences for students and adults
to connect God’s word to the nations. Servant Life provides
opportunities to reach students throughout the world with the Gospel through
camp and conference events and by distributing free online Bible Study
curriculum resources to believers in 40 countries. Servant Life offers
opportunities each summer to share the Gospel in Ukraine, Ecuador, and South
Africa.

The mission of SPEAR International Ministries is to equip and empower individual Christians and churches to discover and fulfill their role in the Great Commission primarily through the establishment of strategic partnerships with indigenous ministries around the world. Their strategy to accomplish this mission has three parts. Part one is to find international ministry partners around the world. Part two is to form Strategic Partnership Teams consisting of groups of believers who are willing to commit to a one year partnership with these international ministries. And part three is for to facilitate these Great Commission Partnerships.

Vapor Sports combines
life-changing truth with one of the world’s greatest
passions—sports—in the world’s poorest places. By
joining sports and humanitarian aid efforts with the hope of the Gospel, Vapor
strives to fulfill its mission of brining sustainable life change to the poorest
people on earth. Vapor provides year-round opportunities to participate in their
ministry in Kenya and throughout Africa.
Additionally we collaborate with numerous indigenous churches and field missionary partners. These field partners are sent out by numerous missions-sending organizations. The International Mission Board is a strategic partner with The Church at Brook Hills for the sake of church planting among unreached people groups. Compassion International is a strategic partner with The Church at Brook Hills for the sake of ministering to the poor through indigenous churches.
