Global Disciple-Making – A Dual Approach:
Reached and Unreached Contexts
In a “Reached” Context (where there is at least some presence of the church) the primary concern is to strengthen the existing church.
- Primary means to achieve the goal is sending short-term mission teams to serve the church.
In an “Unreached” Context (where there is no existing church) the primary concern is to establish the church.
- Primary means to achieve the goal is sending long-term church planting teams to unreached people groups.
How do I get involved in Global Disciple-Making?
PRAY: Join us in prayer for the nations and areas/peoples where we are serving.
GO: Go on a Short-Term Trip. 2013 dates are available. Pick a location/date and apply. Connect with our Mid-Term Director, Paul A., as you pray through serving longer in a different context for a time period of 2 months to 2 years. Connect with our Long-Term Director, Bob F., as you pray through planting your life in another context for more than 2 years.
GIVE: Give to short-term efforts, mid-term efforts and long-term efforts to send teams to strengthen and establish the church and make disciples of all nations.
