Give!
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7-9
God gives possessions to build a people who take His glory to the nations. He also provides for us to build a heavenly home where we will enjoy His glory for all eternity with all the nations. Jesus frees us from our bondage to ourselves and our possessions. We are free to go wherever He calls and to give whatever He asks. This section will reveal opportunities to give that unites His people together to encourage one another as we abandon ourselves to Him.
Make a Contribution to the Global Offering
The Global Offering is used to support partners and fund projects around the world. This year, the Global Offering has been used to help support deaf pastors as they plant churches in unreached deaf communities in Latin America, complete classrooms in a Christian school ministering to Muslim students in Asia, and host biblical training conferences for pastors in Europe, Africa, and Latin America. In 2009 alone, your gifts to the Global Offering have impacted people in over 30 countries.
Make a Contribution to Support a Team Member
Many Brook Hills' mission team members would not be able to go to the nations without the help of generous contributions from people like you. At this time we are only accepting contributions for team members via check.
Please make your check payable to The Church at Brook Hills. Include a notation in the memo line that states "appealed by [team member's name]" and the trip dates and location. Checks may be mailed to:
The Church at Brook Hills
Attn: Global Disciple-Making
3145 Brook Highland Parkway
Birmingham, AL 35242
You may also bring your check to the church office during regular business hours.
