Involved in Penetrating the World with the Gospel
The mission of the church involves penetrating the world with the Gospel--both locally and abroad. As we devote ourselves to God's Word, to ministry to those around us, to authentic worship and to prayer, we are living out the biblical example of a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Our mission as Christ-followers is not to "come and sit" in the church and absorb. Rather, it is to be engaged in our world as we model Christ to our family, our business associates, our friends and even complete strangers. It's this modeling--being imitators of Christ--that's the center of disciple-making.
We believe it's the privilege and responsibility of every Christ-follower to make disciples. It's a very simple process that anyone can follow. We see Jesus' example, and we live as He lived--following in His footsteps.

Forming Your Global Support Team
The financial burden of going on mission is often a source of concern. As you pray and play for your international project, begin forming your support team. Ask non-members, family and friends to pray for you, and use the opportunity to gracefully inform them of your mission project and share an opportunity to participate. More... International Efforts
Give just 2% of your time--one week--this year to an international effort. You will be joining Christ in expressing compassion toward those in need around the world, and working with more than 1,000 fellow Brook Hills members on mission in 2008:
