What We Will Cherish

The Gospel

We cherish the message of Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection and the hope it provides for the renewal of the whole world. Therefore, we weave the gospel into every decision, doctrine, demand, and delight.

The Bible

We cherish Holy Scripture. The Bible governs every facet of our worship of God and service to one another and the surrounding community. Therefore, as a church, we are perpetually examining the Bible’s teaching in order to reform and refine ourselves and our strategies.

Missional Living

We cherish life on life evangelism and discipleship. Therefore, we expect, equip and encourage one another to engage the world as gospel-driven disciple makers. This involves entering into real relationships with those who have yet to believe the gospel.

Intentional Investment

We cherish intentional investment. Therefore, as gospel-driven disciple makers, we process all immediate and long-term decisions and desires through the filter: Will this enable us/me to more effectively honor Christ and make disciples of all peoples?

Mercy Ministry

We cherish the process of re-humanizing the de-humanized. Therefore, we leverage our time, talent, and treasure to care for the urgent physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors both near and far.

A Global Concern

We cherish God’s gospel as good news for the whole world. The message of being reconciled to God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is too powerful and too precious to remain in one place among one group of people. Therefore, we desire to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Cultural Renewal

We cherish the gospel’s power to transform culture. Therefore, we encourage Christian engagement with culture shaping avenues such as the arts, business, government, and the academy with integrity, authenticity, and excellence.
