Internships
Dates: June 1, 2011-August 31, 2012.
Duration: 15 months.
The Worship Ministry of The Church at Brook Hills is offering a 15-month paid internship program for high school graduates, college students or recent college graduates. This internship is designed for students interested in worship/music/technical Ministry as a career. Participants will work under one of three Worship Ministry Staff Leaders on worship with a vocal, instrumental or technical emphasis. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of what it means to be on staff within a worship/music/technical ministry. This program will prepare participants with the experiences, training and information they need to further pursue any of these ministries as a lifelong vocation.
The internship consists of a 15-month program, where interns will work 30-hour weeks with the ministry staff. This will include, but not be limited to: worship services, Bible studies, meetings, workshops, training sessions, rehearsals, stage-work, etc.
Here is a brief description of the internship structure:
- 15-month program
- 30 hours/week (Sunday-Thursday)
- Salaried
- Assistance with housing for out-of-town participants
