College Ministry Assistant
What is your favorite part of your job?
I love organizing things and people. I am grateful to serve the wonderful College Ministry staff in that way.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I began attending Brook Hills in 2006 during college, and I joined the faith family after graduation.
Where are you from?
I am originally from the great state of Texas, more specifically, Dallas.
Who is in your family?
Back in Texas, I have two incredible and wise parents, Brian and Debi, and a younger but cooler-than-me brother, Ben.
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
I grew up in a home with parents who loved God and shared their love for God with me. When I was seven years old, I realized how great the things I did wrong were. These things separated me from God because I was offending the creator of the world. One afternoon, I asked my mom about how I could be with God. She explained how Jesus came down to live a perfect life and die on the cross to pay for all I punishment I deserved. I recognized how I could not do anything good apart from Jesus, so I trusted Him with my life. I did not want to spend another minute without God. The Lord has given me a new heart and desire to glorify Him in everything I do. I will continue to grow and learn in order to show other people how great God is. He is the only reason that I have breath and life, and I will spend the rest of my life telling people about Him.

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:4-5
What was the best concert you’ve ever been to?
George Strait in Dallas with my best friends
What is the best place you have ever visited?
Lago de Atitlán in Guatemala – take a boat ride across this lake and be amazed.
I recommend…
…going to Railroad Park with a good book, some friends, and a limeade from Gilchrist’s on a beautiful day.
If your life was made into a movie, who would be cast as you & why?
Rachel Bilson – people say I favor her, and I will take that any day.
