What is your job at Brook Hills?
I have the joy and privilege of training, equipping, and sending Brook Hills members around the world for periods of 2 months to 2 years to engage unreached peoples with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I really enjoy shepherding and equipping people who sense God leading them to serve overseas.
How & when did you first come to Brook Hills?
I came to Brook Hills in the Fall of 2010 to be Director of Mid-Term Mission.
Where are you from?
I was born in Dallas, Texas, but I grew up in North Carolina and Kentucky.
Who is in your family?
Wife – Kari
Son – Micah
Daughter - Jordan
Please provide a short testimony about your relationship with Christ?
My dad shared the gospel with me when I was 7 years old. I understood the gospel in an elementary sense. After recognizing my sin and need for a Savior, I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Many years later I still struggle with sin, but by God’s grace, I am daily being sanctified and conformed to the image of Christ.
What’s your favorite Bible verse?
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion. ‘Your God reigns. Isaiah 52:7
What is the best place you have ever visited?
Florence, Italy or Banff, Canada
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Probably Colorado so I could go skiing on a regular basis.
